Nunavut Sealink and Supply Inc. (NSSI) provides reliable sealift carriage and related services to all Nunavut Eastern and Central Arctic Communities, with regular sealift schedules primarily Exit Montreal Region in Quebec, and with additional schedules Exit Port of Churchill, Manitoba, for the Communities in the Kivalliq Region.
Communities in four (4) of the five (5) Nunavut Eastern Arctic Areas are serviced by NSSI under the Agreement with the Government of Nunavut (GN). These are Area «B» (Foxe Basin), Area «C» (Iqaluit), Area «D» South Baffin, and Area «E» (Kivalliq). NSSI clients in Area «A» High Arctic, which is not subject to the Agreement between NSSI and the GN, receive the same high quality services at the rate set by the GN for that Area, however under individual and personalized contracts.
Regarding Kitikmeot, rates are establisehd and published annually for services offered exit Montreal.
In addition to the Eastern and Central Arctic Communities, NSSI also provides adapted and customized carriage services to and from mines, decommissioned military sites, certain outfitter camps and other sites.
